When I attempt to open Administrative Tools/Local Security Policy I receive the following message:

Snap-In Creation Failed.
The Snap-In is not created, it may not be installed properly.
Name:Group Policy

CLSID:{8FC0B734-A0E1-11D1-A7D3-0000F87571E3}

I have tried MS fixes with no success.

WinXP Pro SP2
Intel 2600

Run the registry edit on line 296 left side here:
http://www.kellys-ko...m/xp_tweaks.htm
Then reboot your system and try again.

Thanks for the info. I have installed a Ghost image of a previous configuration and elimated the problem. In any event I do appreciate your support.
