Hi,

When I open the installer package for EMET 1.1, I receive the following prompt:

"The installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

Microsoft recommends updating Windows Installer - SO I tried; the installer didn't work.

When I open the installer package for the latest version of Windows Installer, I receive the following error message:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Josh\Desktop\WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe is not a valid Win32 application."

Hi, thanks for responding. EMET has never been installed on this computer before.

I think I figured out the issue: The installer isn't complete. EMET's installer should be 4 MB, however, the installer downloaded is 66 KB. I'm not sure how to fix this though.

Edit: I'll try downloading EMET via Internet Explorer. IE won't download EMET.
