Can not click buttons ... help please

Not sure what happen, but I cannot click some buttos and my facebook home page display balnk. Looks like any interactive field on any web site is not working. I ran malware detection, did not help. Change security setting on my browser and finaly reset the browser, did not help. OS is Windows Vista 32 bit, Browser is IE 9. I tride to down load Google chrome, but I can not clikc the downloa button.... help please. I am suspecting issue with Java runtime or Javascript....
