While browsing on FB yesterday, I clicked a link and knew something was suspicious. Right away, my antivirus (Kaspersky) turned red and my computer shut down. I turned it back on and all of my files were missing. Took my laptop that I only purchased this past January to Best Buy and although under warranty, they wanted $200 to remove the virus. I had to leave because I couldn't afford it. Came home and restored my computer to an earlier time. Seemed to work last night, but now today, it says my Kaspersky databases are out of date. I run a scan and it still says that. I know the virus is still on my laptop. Every once in awhile, I get a box pop up that "Catalyst" something....it pops up so fast and goes away. Please help!

Download OTL from
http://www.geekstogo...timers-list-it/
and Save it to your desktop.

Run OTL (Vista or Win 7 => right click and Run As Administrator)

select the All option in the Extra Registry group then Run Scan.

You should get two logs. Please copy and paste both of them.
