Most of your crashes were caused by windows system file (Ntfs.sys, ntoskrnl.exe, win32k.sys, portcls.sys, tcpip.sys) many of those files will sometimes point to a driver problem or an hardware problem unless they are themselves corrupt but some if corrupted will stop your computer from booting completely so i think it might be a driver problem.

One crash was caused by:

Caused By Driver : ati3duag.dll
Caused By Address : ati3duag.dll+ab342
File Description : ati3duag.dll
Product Name : ATI Technologies Inc. Radeon DirectX Universal Driver

My first action would be to completely uninstall your ATI drivers (you can try driver sweeper to make sure it was uninstalled completely or use the program Revos Uninstaller)and after reinstall them.

Hope that may help

Hi, thank you for the answer

yes, as I said i've reinstall my windows and every one of the driver
and my ATI driver, I also swapped it with another version a lot since the crash to see if that'll fix it, but it still went BSOD

where do I go from here?
which things should I change?

I thought it only when I was playing game.
Apparently it's completely random :)

How did you uninstalled your driver for your ATI graphic card, did you use the built in ATI program or the Windows add/remove option, in either case they will not remove all of the files and may have left some corrupted files.

If you use a program like driver sweeper it will delete all the files relation to any ATI drivers on your computer so when you reinstall them it will be certain that they are all new files installed.

You say you reinstalled windows, do you mean a fresh install (format hard drive)

I re'installed the ATI drivers the moment my windows was reinstalled

no, now I'am using a new harddisk, but I got the old one attached.

I think the tech guy installed the drivers on my new harddisk, since when I'am trying to use only one harddisk, I didn't attach the old one, but it didn't solve the BSOD problem, so I attach my old harddisk again :)

that 'new harddisk' is actually from the his computer. so I think it had windows installed in it from beginning, I'am not really sure, I'am not pretty good in this

but before I ever use that new harddisk to test out if BSOD problem still occurs, the tech guy did reinstall my windows, and installed all drivers from zero. it didn't worked, that's why I tried using his harddisk, didn't work too, tho

sorry for bad sentences, I hope you understand what I meant

The portcls.sys file in one of your crash us related to soundcard issues, either a wrong driver or caused by a third party audio program doing an audio stress test that causes this files to lock and causing your bsod.

There was a hotfix issued for it but it is not a new hotfix so should have been included in updates since.

sorry for late reply, just wake up >_<

I don't know if I had updated it. I'am using win XP SP 3

sometimes, the computer BSOD without any explanation AT ALL at the blue screen, no technical information AT ALL.

the information can still be viewed through BlueScreenViewer, tho.

so what must I do now?

should I uninstall my sound drive?

I don't know if there's third party audio program, since this computer is shared with my bro and sis :)

Is your soundcard integrated or on a pci add-on card, if an integrated one then you need the drivers from the manufacturer of your MB and not from the company of the soundcard, go to the site of your motherboard (Asus, Gigabyte, Dell, HP ect) and find the drivers for your computer.

By third party program i meam like Winamp or Itunes ect.

If after reinstalling the soundcard driver with the proper one it still does bsod then try the hotfix

Here is the link for the patch if you need it
http://www.microsoft...lang=en&id=7137

And you can go and uncheck the option to Automatically Restart if the system crashes if you want to see the blue screen and its information right away.

go to Start/Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/System then choose the tab Advanced and then Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically Restart

sorry, How do I know if my sound card is integrated or PCI add on? :)

btw, there's also BSOD involving tcpip.sys and ntoskrnl.exe, should I ignore them for now?

for the ati drivers, i've done re'installed it numerous time, with different versions, tried the newest one and old one (right after windows fresh install)

for RAM, i'am using a new RAM now. but the problem still occurs just like when I'am using my old ram :)

I don't know what must I do with the sound card, now..

is this the end of my 'using computer' era?

What is your computer, is it a desktop or laptop, what model or brand is it (Dell, Hp, Acer) or is it a clone (Asus, Gigabyte, MSI) most computers come equiped with built in soundcard (integrated) but some people prefer to add a pci card for there sound.

If you have a laptop everything will be integrated, if a desktop it will certainly have integrated sound just have to determine if a pci soundcard was added or not.

As rshaffer61 pointed out testing your memory stick will be necessary if updating your drivers does not fix your problems. As I stated in an earlier post the windows files causing your bsod are usually the cause due to drivers issues or hardware issues.

Your memory sticks could be good but one of your memory slots might be the cause so this is why by testing your memory stick one by one we will be able to see if the sticks are good and if the slots are good.

It might help us if you could tells us the specs of your computer. Model if a brand name (Dell HP etc) or if a clone check on the motherboard itself for the proper number (usually near the memory sticks or between the pci slots.

I'am using a desktop computer. I don't know what you mean by clone,
but the mobo is ASUS P5Q SE2
the processor is Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @2,83 Ghz
is this what you were looking for?

by memory slot, did you mean the one on my motherboard? :)

Is your system a name brand system like Dell, Hp, Acer, Compaq?
If not then was system custom built for you by someone using parts bought specifically for your system?

Your computer as an integrated soundcard (VIA VT1708S 8 -Channel High-Definition Audio CODEC)

The driver for it is: VIA Audio Driver V6.0.1.8200 for 32bit Windows XP & Windows Vista & Windows 7.(WHQL) update date 2010.05.25

If it is not the same driver that you already have installed then you can find it on this page under the audio tab
http://www.asus.com/...Q_SE2/#download

Note: if you have the 64bit windows XP instead of the 32bit download the proper drivers for the 64bit

By slots i mean where you insert your memory sticks, by default you use the two yellow slots (A1 + B1) if using 2 memory sticks, if using only one you have the option of using the yellow DIMM slot A1 or the black DIMM slot A2 which are beside each other.
