Hi,

I want to secure my Compaq Presario V2000 laptop while I am away from home. However, it does not have a "lock slot" on which I can attach a security cable. How can I secure my laptop using a security cable??

Edit 1: My mistake, my model carries a "k lock"

I want to secure my Compaq Presario V2000 laptop while I am away from home.

Lock the whole notebook out of sight and in lockable cabinet or drawer. Also, password protect your notebook.

Thanks for the reply. I did not think about a cabinet since I don't have one, but that is a great idea, I will get one and lock it inside!
