Hi! I need help =( I suspect a virus or malware... running windows vista home and I usuallty run firefox but it won't open and I had to go into the computer, c drive and selected internet explorer to get on the web to get here. When i try to open system restore nothing happens when I try to download avast or malwarebytes it seems like it is going to download but then disappears and it doesn't appear in downloads or even if I search for it. I suspect whatever sickness this laptop has is preventing me from getting the medicine. If anyone can help me I would so appreciate it TX!!

Go to the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal forum, read the first post and follow instructions.

Come back here once you get a clean bill of health if you still have problems.
