Without dump files it is just a guessing game.

First, make sure your networking drivers are fully up to date.

If that fails, uninstall your current Anti-Virus and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Also, if you still can't attach your dump files here try using a file hosting site.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Thanks to Broni for the instructions and program

This is all that is reported by BlueScreenView

Spoiler

Not entirely sure what this info on the bottom screen of the application is, though it appears to be a list of files associated with the dump file.

Have you tried updating your networking drivers? Do you use a wired or wireless connection?

What is your anti-virus/firewall setup?

I'm using a wired connection (The WLAN card is disabled)

I'm running MS Security Essentials. (I had both IObit Malware fighter and MS Security Essentials enabled at the time of the last BSOD)

One of the drivers listed in the BlueScreenView output is from LogMeIn's Hamachi VPN software. Tried disabling that?

I would prefer minidumps if at all possible. Where did you get stuck when you tried to attach them the first time?

PS. I don't seem to be able to attach dump files.... strange.

I've never had a BSOD when actually using Hamachi, but I suppose it's possible an application attempting to connect to the internet through Hamachi could have caused the BSOD. Seeing as it's a tunnel/VPN and not an actual internet connection.

As for uploading the dump file. The forum is denying me access to uploading .dmp files.

Not sure, I spend most of my time on other forums.

From the minidump, this is your networking driver:

Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 22:04:13 2009 (49A65B0D)

There is a newer version, you can find it here - http://www.realtek.c...3&GetDown=false (the download you want is the Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1457675)).

You also should update to Service Pack 1; check Windows Update (Start -> type Windows Update press enter).

Hmm, my network driver is more severely outdated then I had though.

Did Microsoft fix the issues they had with the initial roll out of Win7SP1?

EDIT:

Well, that's the driver up to date. Hopefully that was it.

Thx for taking the time.

Most of the issues I've seen with SP1 so far have been installation related - it simply failed to install on many systems (my main PC included). There were generally no adverse affects due to the failed installation.

There were a few other minor issues, but I believe they are fixed by now (it is almost 4 months after it was rolled out).

I know it's been a long while (4 months as you say) since it's release, I just have not been able to pay much attention as I'd like to the ICT\PC business lately.
Kinda ironic really, since I've been trying to get an ICT/Support job for the past 3 months.

Yeah, it's almost another job trying to keep track of all the IT news!

Let us know in a few days if the BSODs have stopped completely.
