decided to do an up grade on a tired and small(40g to 160g) hard drive on my laptop, it's an Acer aspire 3050, came with windows MCE and now i have installed windows xp pro, got the drivers from the acer web support page and used them (for xp) for the reinstall, everything loaded but the wireless, keeps asking for the driver after having loaded the driver, what do i need do to correct this? thanks

Looking HERE I see two different drivers. Did you try both?

i am suppose to have the broadcom, so i only downloaded it and run it from the zip folder- moved it to the desktop and then run the set-up in that folder.guess i could try the other...

sorry so late, did the holiday thing Saturday nite, believe it or not, the windows MCE version did the trick. i have installed window xp pro but the driver had to be for MCE. thanks for the help
