i was installing an original legitimate copy the sims game, and during installation avg popped up and alerted me to a win32 heur virus infection. i thought little of it as it was what i thought to be a respectable game company that would endeavor to not release products with viruses, but low and behold while i was playing it after install my pc restarted without input and has been unable to complete virus scans to resolve the issue, instead the pc restarts while the scan is running, and subsequent scans do the same thing, also when i am opening large programs the pc restarts. what can i do, please enlighten me, i am computer savvy although viruses are not commpn for me. any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
