Hi

Recently my laptop got a virus and i took it to be repaired by a man who rebooted the whole system. Since it cam back it the display has a very red tint to it which makes looking at it in bright conditions very difficult. I've tried adjusting the monitors settings but it doesn't work. Is there anythig else I can do?

Thanks
Ben

Yeah, take it back to the guy who broke it.

You might also connect an external monitor to see it appears there too. If it does, the problem is the notebook's graphics solution. If it looks good, it is the notebook's monitor - if lucky, a loose connection.

Okay thanks Digerati

Unfortunately I have now moved back from uni and away from the guy who fixed it but will try the monitor technique if I can.
