Hello guys!
Im getting bsod like these:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file: tcpip.sys

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x1000000a (0x00000016, 0x0000001c, 0x00000000, 0x804fa276)

*** tcpip.sys - Address 0xf3a51061 base at 0xf3a27000 DateStamp 0x485b9b83

Please help guys! I tried running pc registry tool still bsod appears after two days. what seems to be the problem. Greatly appreciate all your help. Bsod started to appear after installing k9web protection and vnc viewer i think. But i'm not sure if these are related. Since i installed k9 and vnc viewer on 5/23/2011...

Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Use the General Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist above. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)

it would appear the fault is k9web protection and vnc viewer
I would suggest uninstalling them both and then try installing only one at a time to see if BSOD reappears.

We suggest not messing with the registry as this can cause even worse problems since most registry cleaners can find good entries as bad and delete them. This could cause your system to not only become unstable as you are experiencing but in the worse case scenario it could cause your system to become un-usable. Below is our canned on registry cleaners.

A registry cleaner will not increase your system's speed or performance, and has the potential to break your registry to the point that your PC is no longer bootable.
We strongly advise that people stay away from any of the registry cleaners out there.
Go HERE to get more information about why registry cleaners aren't needed.

Thanks to Sari for the explanation

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'll try your suggestion. However, is there any way that i could maintain k9 web protection and vnc viewer without causing a bsod? Are there alternative programs or software that will not cause this kind of error? Actually i installed k9 and vnc viewer on 5/23/2011, while the first bsod based on the minidump files appeared on 5/31/2011. If these two were the cause of the bsod, shouldn't the bsod happened right immediately after i installed k9 and vnc viewer? It has been seven days after i installed these two programs that bsod first appeared. Does avast anti virus have anything to do with the occurring bsod as well. I've seen avast in the stack file of blue screen viewer...Please help me...

Also should i reset tcp ip? netsh int ip reset? would this help? i just read it somewhere..

Thanks so much!!

Though lapse in the BSOD's starting to appear maybe that the programs were running correctly but something from what I see changed which could just be a faulty installation or the programs have gone crazy.

That we can check also.

Yes you can try these steps also. Could you try this before doing anything and supply the requested log please.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Thanks to Broni for the instructions and program

It looks like you have not had any BSOD since Tuesday

You know the funny thing about it is that I have not done anything yet!!! I'm waiting for your reply actually..hehe..For me having no bsod since tuesday is not a cause for celebration since i have experienced 5 or 6 days interval when the next bsod occurs since the bsod started to first appear from my computer. Well, i'll just try to reset my tcp/ip protocol for now and update you with the results...hopefully it will fix the bsod.

Anyway, if you find anything that might help me please do so and inform me. Really appreciate the time and effort from you and this site!

Good day!

Here are the very interesting results:

-----------------------------------------------------

---------------------------
Welcome to WhoCrashed HOME EDITION v 3.01
-----------------------------------------------------

---------------------------

This program checks for drivers which have been

crashing your computer. If your computer has

displayed a blue screen of death, suddenly rebooted

or shut down then this program will help you find the

root cause and possibly a solution.

Whenever a computer suddenly reboots without

displaying any notice or blue screen of death, the

first thing that is often thought about is a hardware

failure. In reality, on Windows most crashes are

caused by malfunctioning device drivers and kernel

modules. In case of a kernel error, many computers do

not show a blue screen unless they are configured for

this. Instead these systems suddenly reboot without

any notice.

This program will analyze your crash dumps with the

single click of a button. It will tell you what

drivers are likely to be responsible for crashing

your computer. If will report a conclusion which

offers suggestions on how to proceed in any situation

while the analysis report will display internet links

which will help you further troubleshoot any detected

problems.

Conclusion
-----------------------------------------------------

---------------------------

19 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. Only 15

are included in this report. 19 third party drivers

have been identified to be causing system crashes on

your computer. It is strongly suggested that you

check for updates for these drivers on their company

websites. Click on the links below to search with

Google for updates for these drivers:

aswtdi.sys (avast! TDI Filter Driver, AVAST Software)

If no updates for these drivers are available, try

searching with Google on the names of these drivers

in combination the errors that have been reported for

these drivers and include the brand and model name of

your computer as well in the query. This often yields

interesting results from discussions from users who

have been experiencing similar problems.

Read the topic general suggestions for

troubleshooting system crashes for more information.

Note that it's not always possible to state with

certainty whether a reported driver is actually

responsible for crashing your system or that the root

cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's

suggested you look for updates for the products that

these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows

update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In

case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing

trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors

together with the model name and brand of your

computer may help you investigate this further.

Suggest uninstalling Avast and installing MSE

Also what happened to tcpip.sys error that was showing on the minidumps earlier??

This may be a result of Avast having issues.

Good day!

Just last night i uninstalled avast antivirus program and installed AVG anti virus instead. I tried to install MSE on one of my computers at "office 1" but it was having a hard time updating. So at my "office 2" where the bsod is occuring, i tried AVG instead. Let's see if this stops the BSOD! Hopefully it will!

Anyway, funny thing is that the next morning MSE is up and running at "office 1". My computer is running 24 hours at "office 1", so i just left MSE to try and install itself and the following morning its already up and running...anyway is AVG good or do I have to install MSE at "office 2"?

I didn't reset tcp ip yet by the way.....just removed avast and see what happens...

Sorry if i haven't updated things. You know what happened? I suddenly couldn't access my avast anti virus and all other anti virus and malware programs i downloaded i couldn't install. I couldn't access my registry as well. I think a really nasty virus has infected my pc. I tried to boot it in safe mode but i just went into a deadly loop where i can't boot it into safe mode and couldn't boot it in normal mode either and i couldn't boot into windows anymore. What i did was remove the hard drive and put it into an external hard drive case so that i could run an anti virus and anti malware programs on it. The virus is win32/sality.au which is very hard to remove.

This might not be the right forum but if you guys have any idea how to remove this completely or how to remove viruses completely from my hard drive would be very much appreciated. It seems that i couldn't totally remove the win32/sality.au virus...but i now could access the hard drive from a different computer....i'm relly just not yet sure if the hard drive is really cleaned up...any suggestions?? =)I scanned it with MSE and malware bytes and cleaned them up..i'm just not yet sure if it's totally cleaned up...because i've heard it's hard to clean sality.au viruses..

I deal with the bsod once i get my computer up and running again.... =( hopefully i wouldn't need to reformat my hard drive because important items are in it....what a bad turn of events.... =( =( =(
