Hi, thanks for taking your time to view this first of all.

My laptop is a Acer Aspire 5740 and the problem is that if I touch the screen even a little bit on the front or the back, it will freeze the current image and slowly turn white pixel by pixel. I sent my laptop away for repairs under warranty to Acer about a month ago to fix this issue and they charged me $300 for a new screen to be put in.

I'm not sure why this suddenly is happening again, they didn't really do a good job as they gave it back with some parts not working such as the buttons at the top for easy volume access.

Best advice I can offer is to have Acer put it right, you should also complain
about the other defects that the laptop was returned with.
