Hello All, I have a Emachine W4885 Tower Desk Top. Lately I've been having problems powering-up the computer. I'm looking to replace the power suppy and the following is what I have off the PS.

Name: Bestec
Model #: ATX-300-12E Rev D

I've tried Newegg but I'm unsure what to get. Any help out there would be great.

Don't buy another Bestec. They are so low in terms of quality and protection they tend to offer more protection as a doorstop to a wall rather than a computer.

Any standard ATX power supply will suffice. The decent brand ones are obviously more expensive, but don't take the rest of the system out with them when they do go pop, which is what tends to happen with the cheaper ones. Brands such as Antec, Corsair, Coolermaster and Seasonic are all names to look out for.

There is a list here of some to look at and some to avoid.
