I restored my computer back to an earlier time this morning and now when I try to open up any of my desktop icons it gives me a list of programs to open with. When I click on any 0f the programs it showing an error. Can someone please help?

Could you please tell me why you chose to do a system restore?

What is the exact error message that you received.

Have you had any infections removed from your computer lately? If so, who, how or where was your computer cleansed.

Is your system up to date with all Security updates including Service Pack 3?
