I have my PS2 controller plugged into a USB adapter - I don't know the type, but it comes up in my device manager as "MP-8866 Dual USB Joypad". Everything works fine, but I'm a little concerned about the button inputs. It seems that most games are set up for the four buttons to be:
...4...
1....3
...2...
but my gamepad, when I press triangle, it's button 1, circle is 2, x is 3, and square is 4. In the properties of the controller, it allows me to reconfigure the joysticks on the controller, and it has a list of the 12 buttons that light up when I press the buttons, but there's no option to change which button corresponds with which number. Anyone know if there's a way to change this? I could change it in the in-game settings for every game I ever play, but that would be stupid and tedious (and possibly the only option).
