Wonder if anyone could advise me - i need to extend the coverage of the wifi on my laptop,
the place we went on holiday this year, allowed us to access there internet, but as we was quite a distance from the
router, i found it was very low connection - sometimes not at all, so have been looking at arials to extend it,
laptop i have is a HP pavilion entertainment pc - on vista.

theres quite a few different types, but havent a clue which type is best.

Very unlikely the laptop will have any ability to add an aerial without adding an external adapter.

However if the original router was, as you say, "quite a distance" away, you'd normally do well to get a signal at all. Those in laptops are usually more sensitive than their desktop counterparts.
