Posted Image Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Everytime I try to open anything, even in safe mode, a prompt "open with" pops up.

Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

Ok- I can't open any browsers in normal or safe mode. I can't open anything other than "my computer". I had to open OTL in the reatogo. But now I can't post it because I can't open a browser. I'm still on my iPod. Please advise.

You will have to recreate a new copy of OTLPE but with this version http://oldtimer.geek...om/OTLPENet.exe

it'll allow you to use internet during that mode.

Hi. My problem now is I cannot open a browser on my PC to get the link you suggest. I'm communicating w/ you via my iPod which does not haves way for me to save anything. All of my shortcuts, even system restore prompts the " open with " box. I don't know how to fix this problem. Prior to running the last OTL I could get. Browser open, now j can't. I am connected to the Internet so that isn't the problem. Please advise. Thank you.

As I explore to try to solve this, I went to " Internet options" and the following prompt came up: c:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe. Just trying to give you as much information as possible.

The PC I'm trying to use to fix my Acer is connected to the Internet but Internet Explorer says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I've done all I know how to do from resetting IE to making sure my IP address is correct to checking my start up menu. Any other suggestions? Ugh I can't win. LOL
