Hi Gurus,

I want to add a page to a site that will allow customers to enter their postcode which will then show a map of the UK with pointers to the nearest stockist of their product and / or a map that will show all stockists locations accross the UK.

Can anyone please reccomend any open sourse code that will achieve this easily.

Thank you.

Regards,
Sandy.

[bleep] TheWern,

Google's Map API is probably the best solution that's currently available :

http://code.google.c...maps/index.html

It seems to be fairly simple to use and there's plenty of documentation.

If you want to create a static map, just follow the instructions on this page :
http://code.google.c...ion/staticmaps/

With a bit of PHP code, and maybe a bit of AJAX (to keep the UX smooth), it should work nicely.

I hope that helps,
Nahumi
