Hi,

My laptop's screen is really dark so I have connected a monitor to it. When I open a video (FLV in this case) in VirtualDub, the monitor's screen turns black. In order to regain picture on the monitor, I have to exit VirtualDub. Why does this happen and is there a solution for it?

Edit: I may no longer need help with this. I'm replacing my laptop screen's backlight so hopefully that'll fix the dark screen. If it does then I no longer need to use the monitor on it.
