hi
i am having problems with neededware.

Problem: e.g. i am in internet explorer and my window is deactivated but there is only one thing open, if i alt+tab there is a popup but its invisilbe! this is very annoying if i am in word and dont look up for a few minutes and ill find ive writen 2 words. also i get ads with from www.yazifind.com but if you alt+tab it says neededadware.com/ad1/2/3/4/5. i hope you can understand my explaination :tazz:

it will not delete from hijack this, i have tryed in safe mode too.

it says that panda software file is missing, does this have anything to do with neededware?

regards,

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hecwax] C:\WINDOWS\System32\hecwax.exe

O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.neededware.com

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\hecwax.exe

do i need to delete hecwax with killbox?

Hi hiro,

Actually I am surprised it doesn't change it's name.

Can you try the Standard File Kill first, so a backup will be made?
I will be asking for a sample.

Good. You found the backup :tazz:

Use the delete on reboot option in Killbox now for:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\hecwax.exe

Killbox does not need to "see" the file to get rid of it. Just copy&paste the full path in the appropriate box and use the delete File button.
