Replacing a motherboard

A friend of mine needs a new motherboard, his shorted out. After taking it to a local shop they told me that the specific motherboard he has is hard to find.

The motherboard is an ASUS M2N68-CA. Can these two motherboards be used instead?

I'm unsure of the compatability.

It's a AMD athelon 64 x2 3800+ processor

will post more information if thats not enough, thanks in advance.

The M2N68-CA doesn't seem to exist. Are you sure that's the right model number?

see i have gotten that response before... Once the ptroblem was beyond my repair I brought it to a local shop and that is the model make they gave me.
