Not receiving facebook notifications in my yahoo email

Hey, I need assistance with the above topic. I joined facebook earlier this year and i am not receving fb notifications in my yahoo email address. I checked all the categories for fb to send me notifications of anything that happen on my facebook profile like pokes, likes, comments but im not always on fb so i want to keep an update through my yahoo email but im not receiving any help???????

Did you ever get an answer? For some strange reason, FB just completely stopped sending me notifications on my outlook (hotmail) account and I had been with them for years. I can still SHARE, and POST a comment and LOOK at comments, but without getting notifications, absolutely nothing comes into my inbox - it becomes SOOO FRUSTRATING as I am a member of many groups that I need to remain in touch with... health groups, special food groups, recipes for those special heart food groups, spiritual groups etc.
