Logging on to a netgear wireless router?

i have a netgear wnr2000 and i try to login to forward my ports for a game, and turns out one of my friends logged on it when i got it and he cant remember the usernam and password he made for it can i still somehow log into it and forward my ports?

Keeping the reset button pushed in for around 30 seconds will delete your username and password. It will also delete any settings you've put into the router.
