Does anyone have a saved game file for half life 2 that they could send me? I had to reinstall my copy so i lost it. I was up to the prison with the automatic machine guns. Even if you're past this level i can select to go back to the level i want. Thanks

When you say re-install what do you mean? Did you re-install it from the cd? Because if you did they should still be there. Sorry thats all the advice i can give you i will try a give you one of mind. Good luck with it, that part took me ages! lol kept getting lost! stupied prision!!!

I reinstalled from the cd. Steam kept crashing to i uninstalled that then downloaded it again but still it didn't work. So i got rid of the lot and reinstalled it from the cd and when i wen tot HL2 there were no more saved games If you could send me the file i'd be great, save me alot of time

Just use cheats to get you back to where you were, then turn off the cheats. By this i mean there is many ways... On google search for hl2 cheats or half life 2 cheats. Then look for the cheat that tells you how to skip maps so you can get back to where you left off.

Just goto a site that has cheats for games.

pfff, cheats are dumb.... i would give u mine, but i allready erased it cuz i'm restarting the game all over again....when i get there, i'll let u know

Cool cheers, i'll have a look on the net for a cheat to stick in to get there... but if anyone has a saved game feel free to send me it i don't like the term 'cheating'

pffff, i know cheats are dumb the reason i suggested that is because noone sounded like they would give you there saved game files. See what i mean...

I know a way to unlock all the missions.First, locate config.cfg in your half-life 2 game folder.When you find it create a backup copy.Then open it with a text editor such as notepad and locate the ''sv_unlockedchapters'' line and change the value i.e change the following number to ''15''

I have the same problem. i just left Alyx when she was knocked down by a combine. So White_dragon, please send me the saved files when ur there.

Just play the game, HL2 is hardly a very long game i can complete it in an afternoon, although its easier having done it a few times.
