Gateway M465 Screen Flashes

The screen on my M465 flashes on & off. It doesn't do it right away, but it gets worse after the laptop is on for a little while. It will also start rebooting and the flashing gets increasingly worse.

I recommend you remove all covers and expose all bays and blast out any heat trapping dust.

I would also try an external monitor. If it flashes too, then you know the problem is with the notebook itself. If it does not flash, then your notebook monitor (likely the inverter or bulb) are going.
