First is your Java up to date? Next lets just make sure there is no conflict in your Java version and get rid of everything and install only the newest.

Please download JavaRa from the link in my signature below to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
  • * Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
    * Accept any prompts.
    * Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
    * Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button.
  • Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.

What did not work?
It didn't get rid of all the old java?
It didn't install the newest java?
The program didn't run at all?

It didn't get rid of all the old java?

Yes

It didn't install the newest java?

I installed from the link http://sourceforge.n...ft&words=javara
It started verify the old version and gave me the error. It seemed to know that there was an older version
Now we installed the new version 22

The program didn't run at all?

it shows the java loading and that is all

Problem solved.

After working on the problem. We discovered that there is a proxy script in the policy when logging in.
In the script there was line that was not written correctly with the bracket out of place. IE6 would send a log that there is a problem but continued to run. IE8 would not continue with the error. The brackets in the Java script in a IF line were wrongly setup.

Thanx for the help
