My old HP has died and I would like to access the hard drive.
I'm looking for an enclosure for a Seagate Model ST340015A.
I have gone through some websites looking at enclosures but cannot
figure out which type to use. Can anyone give me a clue as to an appropriate choice?

Your hard drive is a IDE interface and more specifically a Ultra ATA 100 drive. Any of the external enclosures should work HERE located at TigerDirect.
