Everytime I try to download hijackthis it never works. I can dowload it and save it to a new folder in my C drive, but when I unzip the file the program doesn't emerge. Plus if I have my McAfee virus scan activated it deletes any of the files because it says it's their infected with the generic worm. Any advice.

Try using an older version of HJT:

I think spyware is messing up my downloading. It seems all of the pages i try to go to for anti-spyware and that website you gave me give me an error message.

It says that it can't access the file or i don't have permission to do it.
