Hmm it seems it cannot find the hard drive either.
Everything looks to be failing because it can't find the hard drive itself.

Well, the hardrives there as I was tampering with it before all this (not it literally, just inside the computer). So do I have any chance at all of being able to keep my stuff, or what?

Like will I have to get a new hard drive? Bet their costly..

If you were playing with the inside of the system it is possible you may have accidentally loosed a cable for the hd to the motherboard or a power connector.
If it is bad then there is no chance to retrieve the data without a professional service which could cost hundreds of dollars and there is no guarantee what they can save.
If you have to replace it then it will depend on the type and capacity you want to get. If you can tell me the type of hard drive and what capacity you want I can check for you.
Getting the model number of the drive will give me all the information I need.

No no no, I didn't literally mean the hard drive, just like the My Computer folder, and the C: Drive. Nothing under the shell. And okay model number. Best place to find that?

Erm... "Model: 14t - 1100". Is that it? I found it under the battery.

Nope that is the battery. There should be a compartment for the Hard Drive and it may be marked Disk Drive.

Check this out HERE on Dummies.com
It gives you a step by step instructions and a couple of pictures to find the laptop hard drive.
I started with the Dummies books and I really like their site for helping to understand the basics of almost anything with computers and software.
May be worth bookmarking the site for future references.

At this point then your best bet is to take it to a shop. Without the proper tools and the confidence to do it you could possibly damage the system even further.
