OK there should be a compartment on the bottom or the side of the laptop marked HD or Disk Drive.
There should be 2 screws that hold the sliding bay or the cover in.
Remove that and the drive should either pull out or slide out.

I got it.. Like literally right before the new one arrived. And they wouldn't take it back. So oh well.. Thanks though, now I have to make it work.

Now you have to make sure the boot sequence is set to the cdrom first and then boot with the first disk of the recovery disks you received. Follow the prompt and everything should install without a problem.

System reloaded and no issues in Device Manager?

Kinda sorta, I'm working on it. Most of them though, I have. A few programs I'm going to let run while I'm asleep to download, I guess.

Eh, beside a major lacking of files, and the annoying new Yahoo! everything's working just fine. So far. I have randomly black screened twice, but that's because of minecraft. I'm pretty sure that's just because I was doing full screen, then not. Oh well
