I have plus net broadband internet. It is connected to a my laptop wirelessly.

How can I speed up my internet connection and make it faster?

If you are taking notice of the sign that says "your speed is xxxxxxx slower than everybody else" that is usually garbage.
There is normally an advertising blurb underneath that asks you to download some program to "Speed up your connection".
I agree with Amst3rDamag3 that you are most likely average in speed.
