touch pad with yellow lite....want work

New lap top...some how I have turned off my touch pad....no mouse..can anyone help

Hi Bill and Welcome.

I suggest you check your manual. On notebooks, there is typically a function key combination to disable/enable the touchpad. There is no Industry standard. On my Toshiba, it is Fn + F9. That is, I hold down the Fn key, then press F9.
