Two nights ago, my computer just restarted on its own while I was on the net. I noticed a lot of random processes taking up the CPU usage before it happened. Now, when it comes on, it goes to the startup options screen, but when I select any option, it just restarts. When I let the timer just run out, it goes to the XP screen then immediately restarts. I removed my hard drive and connected it to my laptop (Which runs on Vista) via an external hard drive shell. Is there any way to fix this issue without restoring or reinstalling XP? Can OTL be set to scan only the external hard drive so that I can post a log? If so, how? Thanks in advance.
