Post 23. About to run MBR then select the Cleanup tab.

If you run Cleanup then you can skip the next step about hiding system and hidden files.

Hi Ron,

Okay, post 23...not sure what "MBR" means...

Please let me know where to start in post 23. I already turned off the fax, we tried the UPHClean, and I was able to do the System Restore.

Not sure what step I should begin with in #23.

Sorry my fingers are so used to typing MBR recently. I meant OTL

I think we are at:
OTL has a cleanup tab so if you run it again and select cleanup it will remove itself and its backup files.

Hi Ron,

Okay, I've finally had the time to work through all of post #23. Going to work on the auto-installer of #24 (auto recognizing a camera when I plug it into the USB) but that isn't a major concern.

What should I do now?

I think we are pretty much done now unless you have other problems.

Nope, seems to be going along pretty well right now.

Should I run any Windows updates or anything?

Now the only issue is that I've gotten a weird message recently when trying to shut down my desktop. Ugh, if it appears again, I might be back...

Thanks for all your help!!

You can uninstall or delete any tools we had you download and their logs.

Hi Ron,

Hmm, what exactly do you mean by tools? And how do I find them and their logs? Sorry, testing my computer abilities (once again). But I'll do this as soon as I know how a bit more.

Thank you again.

Tool is any program we had you download that you don't want to keep. Generally we have you download them to your desktop so just look there and see if there is anything cluttering it up that you don't want that I had you download.
