Hi there AllenStar2, and a warm welcome here at GeeksToGo!tm

Feel free to browse around. About your question:

Description: NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet #2

...and...

Connection attempt to firmware update server was unsuccessful.
The network connection timed out.

Hi therer

I notice 2 things in the log you posted:
  • There are 2 listed ethernet adaptors, 1 of which is unused. I recommend disabling that unused one (not de-installing, it might be used for another purpose, in that case, just turn it back on)

  • Windows firewall is on, iTunes is NOT enabled in Windows Firewall.
This is the most probable cause. Open the menu of your firewall and allow iTunes to make contact with internet as a browser.

Good luck, we would appreciate your feedback :)
