Hi Everyone, I have a Lexmark printer that I use wirelessly on the computer, I also use my laptop and the wife can use her laptop, all to print wirelessly to the printer. I have had to re-install the printer softwear on the computer three times now for various reasons, each time it asked for a name for the computer, I couldn't use the same name, it said it was already in use, so I have Tim-PC, TIM-PC and TIMPC. When I use the printer, it asks which computer it should connect with, but I can't remember which computer name I used, I want to delete the two I don't use, instead of trying them and and getting the wrong one and trying the next. Thanks for any replies.

There may be slight variations depending on the model of Lexmark.
Generally open a browser window.
Type the IP address of the printer in the address bar and press enter
Click on the menu - Configuration
Scroll to Management
Put a check next to the names you wish to remove
Click Delete.

The exact procedure for your Lexmark is available on the Lexmark website.

Their support is first class. If Gloucester is Gloucester UK. that is the link to the right site If not change the location by clicking UK to the right of the Lexmark Logo

Pleased to have helped.
Great part of the country.
Reasonably regular visitor to Todenham, just outside Moreton-in-Marsh.
