I have an ACER Travelmate 2480 and I'd like to connect it to my SONY Wega HDTV TV (Rear Projection). What do I need to do this?

The proper cables. Check the manuals for both. The specs for your Acer looks like it has both VGA and S-Video/TV outputs. You will also need to run the audio from the line out jacks to an audio in on the TV.
