Did you check the bios to see if the hard drive was identified there first?

Usually the bios is accessed by clicking the Del key when you first turn your system on. Since you have not provided any information on your system I can't tell you exactly what the key or keys you have to click to enter your bios.

OK so once you enter bios go to the screen that shows all your drives that are installed. Does the hard drive show on there?

Yep I'm here but be patient because I have other topics I am assisting with also.
Does it show your hard drive in the list then?
