[Legend Gaming]

My harddrive failed so I got a new one, and installed XP Home Edition. Turns out it was OEM software and I had to call a company. They had no serials left and told me to download some drivers. Fair enough. But the thing is, it's a sound card installed in the motherboard and I don't know which drivers to download. The only thing is that I know it's Realtek , I downloaded and installed WDM_A406.exe , and its still not being read.
I downloaded Everest and here's the info from the Motherboard.

Go HERE to Asus's website and you will see drop down menuy for your OS choices. Choose XP32 bit or just plain XP. Then you will see the Audio section. In there are several drivers.

Try the regular driver and not the hd one.
Also take a look through this topic HERE that directly talks about hd drivers and issues.

Which one isn't HD ? There's no clear information on the page, and there's only HD installs for what I downloaded.

OK the very first one is not HD it is just the standard audio driver.

Nah, the title of the file simply doesn't say HD, but when you load the setup it is.

Download and install Free Everest Home Edition
Open it.
1: In left pane expand Computer folder.
2: Click once on Summary
3: In upper menu, go Report
4: And then to Quick Report-Summary
5: Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Click the + by computer, click on Sensor. Get a screenshot and post it so I can check your temps and voltages...


DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING UNDER THE LINE THAT SAYS "DEBUG- PCI"
