Flashing ligts before windows screen

Hello

I have a dell laptop, when it is booting up I get flashing lights (like a laser light display) before the windows screen comes up. I have had the laptop for a month or so and it only recently started this... Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

If the laptop is NEW and only a month or so old, then the best advice is to return to supplier under guarantee
Any attempts to solve can only serve to weaken any claim you have under the guarantee.
