k I don't know what my post keeps disappearing or not going through but what I was trying to say was that it doesn't 'run' it just 'opens' and it won't let me open as administrator.

What posts are disappearing? Try going HERE and download the SP1 as a stand alone installer and see if it will work then.

Forum software is being a little screwy but it should hopefully be corrected now.
As for the link just click the Continue button on the first page and then follow the instructions on the second page.

Well it had me verify my computer, let me try the link again.

Eh.. wants me to do it again. But I see it's the .iso you want me to get. downloading now.

Do I need to burn this as a bootable disk? It's just an update right, it won't try to wipe my computer?

If it is a ISO file then you need to use a ISO program to read it and no since it is just a SP installer it won't lose any of your data.
This is no different then downloading the SP update from Microsoft except that it is a stand alone installer.
