I have to transfer a lot of Dwg files to & from FTP sites daily and copying all the filenames from explorer individually for the notification e-mails is a time-wasting drag. I had seen a Word shortcut several years ago, but can't remember how it worked.
Somehow we were able to use a customized Word icon to simply window/grab all the actual dwg files from explorer and drop them into a Word document which gave us a simple text list of all the filenames. Then I could just copy/paste them all into an e-mail with one motion. This saved me at least an hour a day of double clicking each dwg file to copy the filename.
If anyone knows how this could be done, your help would be most appreciated. I am using XP Pro if that is relevant.
