Hello Wise Ones

I have a bluetooth enabled tablet, and a Vista laptop and XP tower. Will a bluetooth dongle give the XP tower new bluetooth powers? The laptop is an acer aspire - supposed to have bluetooth, but the tablet and laptop don't see each other - will the dongle solve the problem. want to know before I buy.
Thank You

I guess that depends on the dongle and if it has XP drivers.
