A couple of nights ago, a window from Ad-Watch came up and said something like -svchost.exe was attempting to start, but it blocked it- so I ran Malware bites. It showed that svchost was something bad and I needed to remove it. Also ran Ad-Aware and Spybot search & destroy but found nothing other than cookies. After that my start bar will go grey and look boxy like an older version of windows, and there is no sound after this happens. The start bar does not always stay like that, it might go back to normal if I click on it but the sound stays off till I reboot. This does not happen from the time I start my computer, I can start it and everything is normal for about 10 to 15 mins, then the trouble happens.

Here is the log from Hijackthis:

Mod Edit: removed HijackThis log.--ST

I don't really know what any of this means, but if someone needs more info just ask. :) thanks in advance!

Hi hhop :)
I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread. If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will assist you.
