I recently had to restore my Toshiba Satellite (Windows Vista 32) completely to its factory settings due to a virus. Now my computer seems to be working fine except that my built-in microphone isn´t working. I have tried everything I can think of and still have had no luck. In my device manager it says the High Definition Audio Sound is working properly. When I try and scan for updates it says it's completely updated. However when I used a "Driver Detective" it says that my Sound Device is outdated. I have gone to Hardware and Sounds in my Control Panel and it says my microphone is working also. Now that I have restored my computer, everytime I turn it on I need to do more updates (I bought it in 2008), so I'm hoping I just need to update the driver. My microphone isn't on mute, but when I try and use Skype to call family they hear nothing and when I go to the microphone settings, I see my computer isn't picking up any sounds. I have tried searching for an Audio Driver update, but cannot seem to figure it out. Someone please help me fix this. Thank you.

Go to Toshiba's website. You can ownload the driver from there.
