hi i have a hp pavilion . Amd Phenom x4 9750 Quad core Processor 8 gb ram nvida Geforce 9500gs
The computer starts for a second cpu fan shuts donw no post no beeps . Took all the memory out i tried each stick seperately . i tried a another power supply. and replaced the mother board and it does the same thing any ideas ..

The motherboard is shutting down probably because of overheating the CPU. Reseat the heatsink, using some good temp paste, on the CPU and see if it still happens. You may need to replace the CPU if it got burnt.
