<_<

I'm at my uncle's house and he's having quite a few computer problems. First of all, he has 2 search bars (there were about 5, but we got rid of them), his Norton SystemWorks says it needs reinstalling (we aren't sure what happened with that), and everytime one of us tries to sign into hotmail, the website www.searchfst.com comes up saying our search was not found. Also, everytime we try to sign into MSN messenger, it says that our name and/or password is wrong. He has a bunch of different spyware/adware removers : Ad Aware 6, KillEvidence, NoAdware, Spyware Nuker, and Spyware Stormer. The only ones that actually get rid of anything are Ad Aware 6 and KillEvidence. The others are trial software and don't do much of anything. My uncle has a tendency to click "yes" on any popup that comes around, and so I'm wondering if that has something to do with the problem. I'm sorry if my question seems extremely stupid, but I really don't know what to do.

By the way, there is always a program called INSTANT ACCESS running in the background. I know it is a porn thing, but how did it get there, and could it be causing any of the problems?

The running processes are:

IEXPLORE.EXE
msnmsgr.exe
ts.exe
GBTray.exe
IEXPLORE.EXE
tsm.exe
rundll32.exe
tskmgr.exe
MWSOEMON.EXE

Thanks a lot for any help I may recieve.

wow i believe you have a bunch of spyware and bad stuff

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

first though please run an updated version of ad-aware 6.0 by running the program and selecting scan for updates, i recommend to remove most spyware programs except for ad-aware and spybot search and destory because some others claim to remove spyware when all they do is add on to it

Okay, I did all of that stuff, but the program C:\WINDOWS\srchupdt.exe would not delete. Also, an error now comes up saying "Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN`3\inetkw.dll. The specified module could not be found." MSN messenger still doesn't work, and neither does Norton. However, all of the toolbars are gone. Here is the most recent HijackThis log.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Spyware Firewall] C:\Program Files\SpyFirewall\Spyware Firewall.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [inetmgr] C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~3\inetmgr.exe

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file)
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools
C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERN... <= this folder (name abbreviated)
C:\Program Files\SpyFirewall <= this folder

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. <_<

Well thank you, that removed all of the spyware and the error message, but msn and norton still don't work. What's going on here?
