Hi,

Just bought a new Dell XPS 8300 Desktop PC from with following specs.

The purpose of this PC is to watch 6 stock charts at a time on 6, (24 inch, 1080p) Monitors.
I don’t play games but watch Video sometimes.

I would like to connect as many monitors as possible but at least 6 if possible

Can you guys tell me how to do that & what other hardware changes like video cards, cables ( Type, Brand ) etc. do I need to make ?

Dell XPS 8300

i7-2600 Processor (3.4GHz, 8MB Cache)

Chipset Intel® H67

8GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz Memory

NVIDIA GeForce GT530 1GB GDDR3 (VGA/HDMI/DVI) Video Card.

Windows - 7 Ultimate ( 64 bit )

Thank you all.

Hi.

Been doing a little research and also following some of your other posts. http://hothardware.c...848/409249.aspx
Looks like they do have some good suggestion but I feel they are making things to complicated.

My advice would be to purchase proffesonal cards made to do the job you specified. Drivers are optimized for the work and real support is provided. You PSU would be OK. You may have to look at installing another case fan.

Run this past the other forum to see what they think.

6 monitor display with 3 PCI x1 cards, leaving your PCI-e 16 slot empty. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814133372 May need some adapters.

8 monitor display with 2 PCI x1 cards, leaving you1 PCI x1 and 1 PCI-e 16 slots empty. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814133260 plus adapters.
