Hi. Thanks for taking a look at my post. I'm having some trouble with Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106...etc, etc. The site names for the IE windows that appear in my Windows toolbar are displayed in Asian characters. Can someone, please, tell me how to restore these titles to English? I have already run Spybot and AOL Spyware Protection. I am running Windows XP. Thanks for your time. :tazz:

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go. The only language selection options I know of are in the control panel, "Regional and Language". If the site names your tool bar is the only thing that displays in Asian characters, that is the web page you are on is in English, but the tool bar is not, I would suspect some kind of malware. I would suggest working your way through the malware guide at the top of this forum where it says "Do you suspect a malware (Spyware, Virus, Trojan) infection? Please start here. " This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at
